Michelle Anthony, DVM
Dr. Michelle Anthony earned her Doctorate degree from Michigan State University in the spring of 2002. She also received a Bachelors in Science degree from that same University in 1998. She has always had a love for animals and science which made veterinary medicine the ideal career path for her. She established Maple Grove Veterinary Clinic in 2006 where she sought out to create a comforting and trusting experience for her clients and their pets. Dr. Anthony is passionate about the human animal bond and educating clients on how to nurture this bond. In her free time Dr. Anthony enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick and their four children, Kelsey, Chase, Emily and Eva. Their furry family members consist of Dollie the Labrador, Piper the Shetland Sheepdog, along with 2 cats – Kit Kat and Sonny. She welcomes you to Maple Grove Veterinary Clinic and looks forward to meeting you soon.
Ashley Dawson, Practice Manager
Ashley Dawson joined the Maple Grove team in July 2010. You may find Ashley all over the clinic as she is our “go-to” gal. Ashley enjoys her role as Practice Manager, but her true strength lies in the amazing care she gives her patients as a Veterinary Assistant. She passionately believes in our mission to provide the highest quality of patient care in a compassionate environment and provide exceptional client service and education. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Brent and their 2 boys, Carter and Jaxson. Their home is complete with their cat Cami, along with their 3 dogs, Whistler, Rogue and Harper Jane.

Melissa Gawne, Veterinary Assistant
Sophie, Clinic Resident
Sophie joined the Maple Grove family in December 2014. Since being “adopted”, Sophie has begun to break out of her shell and really get comfortable here. You can typically find Sophie lounging on top of the fireplace mantle or on her cat tree, and you are guaranteed to hear her down the hallway as she just loves to talk!
Kobe, Clinic Resident
Kobe was a new addition to the clinic the summer of 2019. Kobe previously resided at Ashley’s home but the environment at the clinic was best for Kobe’s personality, as he likes to mingle with anyone who comes in. You will often find him at the clinic entrance, debating if he wants to go outside or not. Typical cat..
